That's why we stay true to our Love Promise Community Commitment by partnering with a wide variety of community nonprofits and charities. Every year, we join hands with our owners in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to our community-a community that's given so much to us. So, every day, we strive to ensure our love is felt not just by our customers, but by all in our community. We do this because we feel it is the right thing to do. We are proud to participate in the Love Promise Community Commitment. We're grateful, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve and support the causes and passions that are closest to our hearts, right here in our neighborhood. Walk for Wishes 2023! - Vanessa Z
Subaru of Morgantown partnered up with the Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia chapter for the 2023 Northern West Virginia Walk For Wishes event. Walk For Wishes is a community-wide celebration and an effort to grant the wishes of local children. Families, friends, corporations, clubs and schools are invited to walk together and raise funds for children in West Virginia facing critical illnesses. At the same time, the 2023 Walk For Wishes will showcase the strong community investment of local businesses while providing optimal recognition opportunities and strategic alignment with one of the country’s most trusted charitable brands. Subaru of Morgantown was a presenting sponsor of this fantastic event that raised over $107,000 to help fund the wishes of local children. The funds generated through this event will help fund over 21 wishes!
Morgantown Area Meals on Wheels & Subaru of Morgantown - Kathy M
Morgantown Area Meals on Wheels has been serving the Morgantown community for 50 years delivering hot meals to clients 5 days a week. Often, MAMOW is the last “line of defense” for those individuals who can no longer shop and or cook and want to remain in their own homes. Currently MAMOW is delivering meals to almost 120 clients spread out over 10 routes within a 10 mile of radius of Morgantown. MAMOW also accommodates those clients who have special dietary needs such as diabetes, low salt, gluten sensitive and vegan. No MAMOW client pays the full price of what it costs to prepare a meal. This gap in cost is covered by donations, grants and from organizations, foundations, and individuals. That is why this food donation from Subaru of Morgantown is so important as it allows MAMOW to use the donated food and then use funds for other needed food supplies. Thank you, Subaru of Morgantown!

I Chews You Adoption Event - Morgantown, WV - Jenny R
Our rescue, Homeward Bound WV, has partnered with Subaru locally in the past, but like most things, COVID-19 really put a stop to our in-person adoption events. This is why we were so thrilled to be contacted by Joshua Folden of the Morgantown Subaru dealership to participate in their "I Chews You" event this past February. The dealership did an excellent job of promoting the event and had generated an enormous amount of donations for us! There were loads of attendees, including folks who came in specifically to see us, but also Subaru customers who had the added bonus of some kitten time while they bought their new Subie. Any donations we were not able to use within our own rescue were donated to the local animal shelter (and boy were they grateful!) We also successfully adopted out four cats and kittens as a direct result of the event. We are so happy to partner with Joshua, his team, and Morgantown Subaru. THANK YOU!

Subaru of Morgantown has partnered with Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center as the local charity in the Subaru Share the Love event for the past few years, and we are so thankful for their community support. Our 2020 event on December 12 was modified due to COVID concerns, but Morgantown children were still able to get in the Christmas spirit by getting a to go hot chocolate, meeting Frosty the Snowman, and sending a letter to Santa. Thank you for all your dealership does for the children of Monongalia County!
