Did Subaru of Morgantown go above and beyond, provide exceptional service, or support causes that are important to you? We'd love to hear about it.
The Subaru Love Promise® is our vision to show love and respect to all people at every interaction with Subaru. Subaru and our retailers believe every day gives us an opportunity to positively impact the world around us – by how we support each other, our customers, and our community. Together, we are committed to making the world a better place.
The Love Promise is what makes Subaru More Than a Car Company® and a Subaru retailer More Than a Car Dealer®. It sets a standard that we are committed to living every day.
Providing comfort, hope, and confidence to children in urgent need
Subaru and its retailers partner with Operation Warm® to visit local homeless shelters and support agencies to provide children with brand-new necessities like coats, shoes, and socks.
These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, they can also have a significant impact on a child’s mental and emotional well-being.
Through this partnership and other historical Subaru Loves to Help efforts, Subaru and retailers like us will have supported over 1 million children and adults in urgent need nationwide.
At Subaru, we believe what we leave behind is a reflection of who we are. That’s why Subaru and our retailers partner with the Arbor Day Foundation (TM) to provide and distribute 100,000 regionally appropriate trees across the country. We’re proud to establish the largest corporate tree distribution ever. Through this and other Subaru Loves the Earth initiatives, Subaru and our retailers have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees.
Subaru believes we should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. That’s why for over 10 years, Subaru and its retailers like us have partnered with Blood Cancer United® and our local hospital to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope, written by our employees and customers, to support our community members living with cancer. Through our combined efforts during this partnership, we have supported over 550,000 cancer patients nationwide. Together, we are proud to be Blood Cancer United’s largest automotive donor.
Subaru and its retailers, like us, are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning(R) by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are needed to help students thrive in the classroom. Through our partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, Subaru and its retailers have supported more than 950,000 students nationwide and are proud to be their largest corporate supporter.
Subaru believes all pets deserve a loving home. That's why retailers like us partner with our local animal welfare organization every October to provide direct financial assistance through a grant distributed by the ASPCA® and host pet events to help animals find loving homes. Through our partnership with local and national organizations, Subaru has donated over $70 million, supporting the rescue, adoption, and health of over 700,000 animals. We're proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.
Subaru and its retailers believe in giving back to our communities. That's why for every new vehicle sold or leased during the Subaru Share the Love event, Subaru and its retailers, like us, makes a donation to national charities that our owners care about and to over 2,700 local charities where Subaru owners live and work.
Now, after 17 years, Subaru and our retailers have donated nearly $320 million to charity all to give back and to make the world a better place.
Subaru of Morgantown is committed to helping those in need around the Morgantown community. We have paired with multiple charities, WVU Medicine, local schools, 4H, FFA, and many more to provide enrichment in our community.
Subaru and Subaru of Morgantown believe in making a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work. We uphold that belief through our Love Promise Community Commitment. Every month, we select inspiring stories from customers and partners from around our area who strive to support our collective commitment and feature them here.

With the help of DSPM from both Pittsburgh and WV, I was invited to come out and help volunteer with the surrounding Subaru retailers and redeck a rail trail bridge on the Indian Creek Valley Trail. Through everyone's efforts, we completed the project in a timely and organized manner ahead of schedule. Being originally from the area, this project hit close to home and was a pleasure to give back to the area.

Monongalia County Head Start plays a vital role in preparing young children in our community for success by supporting their early education and development. This month, our team had the opportunity to partner with the Head Start program to donate new shoes to local children in need. We believe proper footwear is essential for growing kids. Not only for comfort, but for confidence as they learn and explore each day. Through this donation, we hope to ease a small burden for families in our community and ensure that every child has the support they need to walk into their classrooms ready to learn and thrive. We are proud to support Monongalia County Head Start and remain committed to making a positive impact in the lives of the families we serve.

On February 13, 2026, Monongalia County Head Start/Early Head Start children were able to take confident new steps thanks to the generosity of Subaru Cares. When participants entered the gifting event, their faces lit up with excitement at the sight of rows of brand-new shoes and socks in every color imaginable. Subaru staff assisted children and their families in selecting the perfect size and favorite color to meet each child's needs. The joy in the room was contagious. Children eagerly tried on their new shoes, many racing across the room to see how fast they could run. One child proudly exclaimed, "These shoes make me fast like Sonic!" Parents, too, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity for their child to personally choose and try on shoes to ensure the perfect fit. Because of this meaningful partnership, our Head Start/Early Head Start children are walking away with brand-new shoes and socks—and an even bigger reason to smile.

Subaru of Morgantown partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to give our local community 100 trees to plant. This team lead by Jake Smith was super helpful when customers came in to pick up their trees and even explained how to care of them at the start. Thank you to the whole team for taking time out of a busy Saturday to help our community like you did!

Thank you to Subaru of Morgantown for taking the time to come to our soup kitchen and helping our community. Your team being there help lift the spirits of those in need. Along with the items you supplied to them with the socks, blankets and snacks. You continued help means everything to us and the community we serve together. We look forward to seeing you next month as well.

Subaru of Morgantown along with the help of Mike Sacco and Jake Smith has created a partnership with WVU Children's. Every Wednesday they are able to help 50 families staying at the hospital. They both have been very willing to help in any area that is needed. They provide lunch every Wednesday for the families staying there. It was the only day that we were missing during the week now with their partnership we are able to provide those families lunch every day! Thank you Mike, Jake and Subaru of Morgantown.
